Not much of a back story on this one. Sometime back before I met Kelly, he had found this table top at a local home improvement store. It was missing it's legs and did not come with any chairs. But being a scrap wood pack-rat that I love him for, he brought it home and stuck it in the shed. He did buy legs for it, but they were never attached it.
After two days of marriage and the decision to really pursue this furniture making and restoration gig, we decided now was the best time to make this table top usable again.
Unfortunately, the top is a wood veneer and the bottom is a hard plastic. But with some tender love and care it can be a great beginner dining table for a family. Or one of those tables you put up until the holidays roll around and you need to sit 8 more people in the room!

While I was at work today, Kelly decided to attach the legs and sand down the veneer top. Until we decide what to actually do with it, we will use it as a work table.
